FFg and FFFg granulated powder
American Pioneer™ Powder is a loose, granular powder designed and created to be a sulfurless black powder replacement. American Pioneer™ Powder comes in 2 traditional granulations for all manner of cartridge and muzzleloading needs. Whether you are shooting patched round ball, a modern sabot load or a conical projectile, muzzleloading has never been easier! Used on a volume for volume basis for your traditional black powder loads, it will give you the same performance, velocity and accuracy without the messy clean-up and difficult follow-up reloading from black powder fouling. Cartridge loading will also give the same results. Basic loading instructions are to fill the case to the point where the seated bullet will very slightly compress the powder about 1/16" when it is seated and seat the bullet with a good crimp. No matter what type of black powder shooting you do, you will find you won't have the continual build-up of fouling that makes reloading difficult and can cause guns to bind up. And since clean-up can be done with nothing more than tap water, it will leave more time for shooting and fun!

The loose granular powder is available in FFG and FFFG sizes and Jim Shockey’s Gold STICKS™ Compressed Charges are available in 45 caliber and 50 caliber charges. Clean up can be accomplished with only ordinary tap water. Jim Shockey’s Gold™ is clean, accurate and consistent. These charges are the most advanced black powder replacement propellant to date. Not only do American Pioneer™ Powder STICKS™ Compressed Charges possess the advantages of being composed of a powerful, sulfurless black powder replacement, but their proprietary design was invented to allow for quick and complete ignition. In addition, American Pioneer™ Powder STICKS™ Compressed Charges allow fast, easy, and consistent loading of a black powder firearm while maximizing performance, accuracy, and dependability. No lubing or swabbing between shots is required or recommended.
ABSOLUTELY NO BLACK POWDER is added to our American Pioneer™ Powder STICKS™ Compressed Charges. The addition of black powder would defeat the purpose of using a sulfurless black powder replacement to eliminate sulfur corrosion, fouling, and the horrible "rotten egg" smell.
Our 50 grain velocity equivalent charges, for use only in 50 caliber black powder firearms, and our 50 grain velocity equivalent charges, for use only in 45 caliber black powder firearms are NOW AVAILABLE. These products are designed and intended for use only in the specific caliber of black powder firearm for which they are recommended and should not be used in any other caliber firearm. Firearm Manufacturers' recommended loads should never be exceeded. Other caliber and grain velocity equivalent charges will be available in the future.

black powder replacement, pre-measured and pre-loaded into custom
designed containers to protect the product from moisture while
allowing the user to quickly and easily load this pre-measured
product into their firearm. The powder delivers fast and complete
ignition plus superior performance, accuracy, and dependability.
American Pioneer™ Powder in Pre-Measured Loads™ are
currently available in two granule sizes (FFG and FFFG) and two
different loads (100 grain and 150 grains volumetric equivelent
charges).
